We take pride in our shop and take even more pride in our people. We are thrilled to have coaches that grew up playing here in Phoenix on our staff. All continue to play at a high level locally, as you will read in their bios below, so you can see their game on the ice all season long.
Will Lachapelle
Will Lachapelle is a local trainer that currently plays for the ASU Club Hockey Program going into his fourth year. He is a forward that prides his game on his shot, situational awareness, and stickhandling. From the Scottsdale area, Will has been playing hockey around the valley since he was 8 years old. Will was an assistant captain for Pinnacle High School where he was a part of three Division 1 State Championships. Will caters his training sessions to each of his clients and focuses on the idea of a complete shot that incorporates all necessary aspects including accuracy, power and release time. With 13 years of experience, Will knows how to help you improve your game by creating game-like scenarios that will force you to think on your feet and become a better hockey player.
Logan Derryberry
Hello, my name is Logan Derryberry. I was born in Minot North Dakota and began skating when I was 2 years old. After moving to Arizona, I played house hockey out of both Peoria and Scottsdale until I reached high school. I played in the Arizona High School Hockey Association (AHSHA) for the Pinnacle High School for 4 years and was fortunate to have won 3 D1 Arizona State Championships my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year, along with serving as the D1 team Captain my senior year.
After high school, I took the opportunity to move out to the East Coast and continued with my hockey development, while experiencing a new and refreshing style of hockey training that I plan to spread here.
My first season, I played for the 18U AAA Elite North Shore Hockey Academy out of Massachusetts where I served as the team Captain.
My second season, I played Juniors in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) for the Seacoast Spartans out of New Hampshire where I again served as the team Captain.
I passed on playing another year of Juniors and moved back to Phoenix where I plan on getting my education while playing hockey at Arizona State University.
Parker Hoffman
Parker was born in the Chicago suburbs, residing in the area for most of his childhood. Parker played hockey growing up until the end of high school. He grew up playing other sports, including golf, but he always had a passion for hockey. Upon graduating high school, Parker decided to continue his love for hockey by accepting the Head Equipment Manager position with the New Jersey Titans. After just one year in New Jersey, Parker returned to the Chicago area after receiving the Head Equipment Manager position with Chicago Steel. At 19, Parker became one of the youngest Head Equipment managers in USHL history. During his 5-season tenure with the Chicago Steel, Parker aided in the skill and player development of numerous notable NHL draft picks, including Owen Power, Josh Doan, Matt Coronato, Sam Colangelo, Mackie Samoskevich, Brendan Brisson, Sean Farrell, and multiple Division 1 player. Parker was a member of the 2021 Clark Cup Champion Chicago Steel, was selected as the Head Equipment Manager for the 2021 USHL Bio-Steel All-Star game, and was a part of the Equipment Staff for Team USA at the 2021 World Junior Championships. In addition, Parker has worked various games and development camps with the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes. After spending most of his offseasons in Arizona, Parker is now residing in Arizona full time. Parker brings his years of hockey player development, knowledge, and wisdom to the Scottsdale area. Parker has first-hand looked at what it takes to improve and play the game at the highest level progressively. He understands the work ethic needed to be successful at the game on and off the ice. Parker’s primary goal is to help the next generation of hockey players achieve/her highest potential.
